1/72 Kawasaki Otsu-1 Sal.2 A2 Single Seat

Otsu-1 reconnaissance biplane. The Otsu-1 was a license built version of the French Salmson 2.A2 and was produced in Japan by Kawasaki. Despite a total production of 3,200 no complete example of the Salmson 2 design exists, however the forward fuselage of a single Otsu-1 does survive and is on display alongside this replica. She remains on display in Area A1 at Gifu-Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum, Kakamigahara, Gifu. 13th March 2020
